| US oil and gas rig count rises by 6 this week (INO News) (AP:HOUSTON) The number of rigs actively exploring for oil and natural gas in the United States rose by six this week to 1,928. Of the rigs running nationwide, 1,534 were exploring for natural gas and 385 for oil, Houston-based Baker Hughes Inc. reported Friday. Nine were listed as miscellaneous. |
