The latest on Sunday registered six point oh on the Richter scale -- destroying thousands of homes. And the newest concern .. Easing flooding fears after new lakes were formed from earthquake debris. About 18 hundred Chinese soldiers are prepared to explode debris from a blocked river where rising waters are threatening to flood earthquake survivors. Chinese authorities also announced on Monday that it will ease certain rules about the country's strict one-chid policy. The government says it will allow certain families, affected by the earthquake to obtain a certificate to have another child. Right now its unclear just how many children were killed in the earthquake. But, with all the stories of death and destruction -- still reason for hope. An 80-year-old man pulled from the rubble-- 266 hours after the earthquake struck. Rescuers say the bedridden man was able to survive because his wife was able to get food to him.
