

James Kalm ventures to the East Chelsea campus for a visit to SVA's open studios celebrations. Recently in the art press there have been a flourish of stories regarding the poaching of grad students by galleries collectors and curators. In a whimsical challenge, James Kalm enlists participants in the residency program to pitch their artworks as if they are facing Charles Saatchi, with a time limit of 30 seconds.
